Felts for sludge dewatering
Dollfus & Muller endless felts can be used to take out water from sludge in order to decrease the weight of the wastes and then contribute to a better environment.
Traditionaly, after the sludge is sandwiched between two polyester filtration belts, around 10% of water remains in the sludge. After the bottom polyester filtration belt has been pressed against a drum and the Dollfus & Muller's felt, the excess of water is taken out and only 7% of water remains in the sludge.
The Dollfus & Muller's felts have a very good capacity of dewatering.
