Dollfus & Muller is supplying conveyors for rotary and flat printing dryers as well as felts for transfer printing
Printing dryers
The DOLLFUS & MULLER conveyor belts are used to carry the fabric through the printing dryers. The fabric, which has been printed, is dried inside dryer with hot air.
The belts need to be very resistant as the running conditions are tough : Speeds range from 10 to more than 100 meters/min. (yards/min.). Temperatures which may be as high as 230°C (450°F). Chemical resistance against the colorants and the auxiliaries, as well as resistance against the abrasion created by the rolls inside the dryers and occasionally bad guiding. Nomex belts, Teflon coated fibre glass belts, polyester belts, Ryton belts, PEEK belts are available for printing dryers.
These dryer belts are used on the following machines : Zimmer, Reggiani, Stork, Buser, Ichinose, Kuil, Aztec, Harish, Laxmi, Texprint, Chen Hock Heng,…

Transfer printing
The DOLLFUS & MULLER Nomex® felt is used on a heat transfer printing calender. Synthetic fabrics are usually printed on this calender using high temperatures (230°C / 450°F). The pre-printed paper carries the colorants, which are then sublimated on the fabric using high temperature. The purpose of the felt is to press the fabric against the printed paper, both against the heated drum. The contact between the fabric and the printed paper needs to be long enough, to ensure the transfer of the colorants to the fabric. Heat transfer printing is an economical way to print synthetic fabrics. These machines can also be used for the following processes : - Laminating, - Calendering, - Placard transfer printing (banners). For special applications, a silicone coating can be applied. These felts are used on the following machines : Lemaire, Bates, Klieverik, Stork, Monti, Fontanet, Gessner, STM, Hashima,…
